Cosmos is a half hardy annual that can tolerate a lot but does not do will with frost. So only plant out once danger of frost has past. It is a member of the daisy family and produces lovely larger daisy shaped flowers.

How To Grow

Cosmos is best sown indoors 1-2 months before the last frost date for your region. So thinly in trays and transplant to bigger plots as they grow. Then plant out in the garden once the danger of frost has past.

How/When To Harvesting

Cut flowers as available and keep in water on a sunny window sill. If leaving flowers on the plant to a colour to your garden then deadhead regularly to ensure a continued bloom of colour.
